Track Reconstruction with the ATLAS Inner Tracker and ACTS at the High-Luminosity LHC / Calace, Noemi (CERN) /ATLAS Collaboration
The High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) will significantly increase the demands on charged particle track reconstruction, with proton–proton collisions expected to reach up to 200 simultaneous interactions per bunch crossing and heavy-ion collisions producing similarly high track densities. In preparation for Run 4, the ATLAS experiment is replacing its current Inner Detector with a new all-silicon Inner Tracker (ITk), featuring extended pseudorapidity coverage, increased granularity, and improved radiation hardness. [...]

Drift circle error calibration in the TRT detector / Leszczynska, Julia (Polish Academy of Sciences (PL)) /ATLAS Collaboration
The position measurement in the Transition Radiation Tracker (TRT) is based on the drift time measurement of the ionisation signal in the TRT straws. The drift time is converted into a 1D position measurement – a circle around the wire of the straw, that is called a drift circle. [...]

Statistical inference in ATLAS / Dado, Tomas (CERN) /ATLAS Collaboration
The final stage of any physics analysis involves the statistical interpretation of data. Within the ATLAS collaboration, several frameworks are employed to address different statistical procedures and objectives. [...]

Recent searches for new phenomena with the ATLAS detector / Otero Y Garzon, Gustavo (Universidad de Buenos Aires (AR)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Many theories beyond the Standard Model (SM) have been proposed to address several of the SM shortcomings, such as explaining why the Higgs boson is so light, the origin of neutrino masses, or the observed pattern of masses and mixing angles in the quark and lepton sectors. Many of these beyond-the-SM extensions predict new particles or interactions directly accessible at the LHC. [...]

Fast Calorimeter Simulation in ATLAS for LHC Run 3 and Beyond / Corchia, Federico Andrea (Universita e INFN, Bologna (IT)) /ATLAS Collaboration
In view of the high luminosity campaign of the LHC (HL-LHC), the computational requirements of the ATLAS experiment are expected to increase remarkably in the coming years. In particular, simulation of Monte Carlo events is immensely demanding from the computational point of view and their limited availability is one of the major sources of uncertainty in many analyses. Cherenkov detectors in the extreme LHC environment: LUCID PMTs and fibers / Cremonini, Davide (Universita e INFN, Bologna (IT)) /ATLAS Collaboration
The LUCID-2 detector is the main luminometer of the ATLAS experiment and the only one able to provide a reliable luminosity determination in all beam configurations, luminosity ranges and at bunch-crossing level. The detector works through the production and detection of Cherenkov light in unusual ways: within the fused silica (quartz) window of the photomultipliers (PMTs) and in the core of dedicated fused-silica optical fibers. Overview of ATLAS forward proton detectors: status, results, prospects / Chwastowski, Janusz (Polish Academy of Sciences (PL)) /ATLAS Collaboration
A key focus of the physics program at the LHC is the study of head-on proton-proton collisions. However, an important class of physics can be studied for cases where the protons narrowly miss one another and remain intact. [...]
