Precise measurement of inclusive dijet production with the ATLAS detector / Polacek, Stanislav (Charles University (CZ)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Inclusive dijet cross-sections have been measured in proton–proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV using data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb−1, recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider during 2015–2018. Search for massive, long-lived particles in events with displaced vertices and displaced muons at sqrt(s) =13.6 TeV with the ATLAS experiment / Duden, Emily Rose (Brandeis University (US)) /ATLAS Collaboration
This talk presents a search for massive long-lived particles (LLPs) in events featuring displaced vertices (DVs) and displaced muons, using 13.6 TeV proton–proton collision data collected by the ATLAS detector between 2022 and 2024. The analysis benefits from displaced muon triggers newly introduced in ATLAS for LHC Run 3, increasing the sensitivity to lower mass LLPs, as well as improved tracking and vertexing algorithms for reconstructing displaced decay signatures over a broad lifetime range.
