Search for H-aa-2mu2tau (boosted)
/CMS Collaboration
A search for a light pseudoscalar Higgs boson ($\mathrm{a}$) is performed using LHC data collected at $\sqrt{s}=13~\mathrm{TeV}$ by the CMS experiment from 2016 to 2018, targeting the process $\mathrm{H} \to \mathrm{a}\mathrm{a} \to \mu\mu\tau\tau$, where the scalar $\mathrm{H}$ can be either the 125 GeV state or a heavier one. Due to the large mass difference between $\mathrm{H}$ and $\mathrm{a}$, the two tau leptons are highly boosted and collimated, often failing standard CMS tau lepton reconstruction. [...]

Upsilon fragmentation in jets
/CMS Collaboration
A measurement of the fragmentation properties of $\Upsilon(\mathrm{nS})$ mesons inside jets using $138~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV is presented. The $\Upsilon(\mathrm{nS})$ mesons are reconstructed via their decays to pairs of oppositely charged muons and are associated with anti-$k_{\mathrm{T}}$ jets if both muons are clustered among the jet constituents and the angular distance between the $\Upsilon(\mathrm{nS})$ candidate and the jet axis is smaller than the jet distance parameter, $R = 0.4$.
