Measurement of single top and ttbar production cross sections in association with a photon in proton-proton collisions at sqrt(s) = 13 TeV /CMS Collaboration
Measurements of fiducial inclusive and differential cross sections for photon-associated production of single top quarks $\mathrm{t}\gamma\mathrm{q}$ and top quark pairs $\mathrm{t\bar{t}}\gamma$ are performed in proton--proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13$~\mathrm{TeV}$. Upsilon fragmentation in jets /CMS Collaboration
A measurement of the fragmentation properties of $\Upsilon(\mathrm{nS})$ mesons inside jets using $138~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV is presented. The $\Upsilon(\mathrm{nS})$ mesons are reconstructed via their decays to pairs of oppositely charged muons and are associated with anti-$k_{\mathrm{T}}$ jets if both muons are clustered among the jet constituents and the angular distance between the $\Upsilon(\mathrm{nS})$ candidate and the jet axis is smaller than the jet distance parameter, $R = 0.4$. Search for soft unclustered energy patterns in pp collisions at 13 TeV using CMS data scouting /CMS Collaboration
A search for soft unclustered energy patterns (SUEPs) is conducted using proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $127~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, collected via the data scouting stream of the CMS experiment at the LHC. The scouting strategy records only the results of the trigger-level reconstruction in order to enable a lower threshold on the hadronic activity, increasing the acceptance for SUEP signatures, which are predicted by hidden valley models with a large 't Hooft coupling.
