At CERN, physicists and engineers explore the fundamental laws of the universe using some of the world’s largest and most complex scientific instruments. This object collection brings together pieces from over 70 years of CERN’s history. It includes prototypes of new technologies as well as actual equipment that was used in CERN’s particle accelerators and detectors.
