Fragmentation Cross Sections for the Understanding of Cosmic-Ray Transport in the Galaxy: Results and Prospects from NA61/SHINE / Unger, Michael (KIT, Karlsruhe) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
Accurate measurements of cosmic-ray fragmentation cross sections are essential for maximizing the physics potential of precise measurements of secondary and primary cosmic-ray fluxes from current balloon and space-borne experiments. NA61/SHINE, operating at the CERN SPS H2 beamline, is uniquely suited to studying these interactions at energies above 10 GeV/c per nucleon. [...]

Highlights from the NA61/SHINE / Pulawski, Szymon (Silesia U.) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
NA61/SHINE is a multipurpose fixed-target facility at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron. The main goals of the NA61/SHINE stronginteractions program are to discover the critical point of strongly interacting matter as well as to determine the properties of produced particles relevant for the study of the onset of deconfinement - the transition between the state of hadronic matter and the quark-gluon plasma. [...]

Lambda baryon production in heavy-ion collisions at the NA61/SHINE experiment / Balkova, Yuliia (Silesia U.) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
Strangeness production in heavy-ion collisions is a longstanding and actively researched topic, offering crucial insights into the properties of strongly interacting matter. The NA61/SHINE experiment at CERN SPS North Area is one of the leading experiments in this field, focusing on measuring hadron production in a wide range of collision energies and system sizes. This talk emphasizes the significance of measuring strangeness production with respect to the onset of deconfinement. Large isospin symmetry violation in kaon production? / Brylinski, Wojciech (Warsaw U. of Tech. (main)) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
The recent measurements of kaon production in Ar+Sc collisions at 75A GeV/c (√SNN = 11.94 GeV) performed by NA61/SHINE at the CERN SPS resulted in determining the ratio of charged to neutral kaons to be 1.26 ± 0.06. The result, well above unity, cannot be explained by models accounting for known isospin symmetry violating processes. [...]

First $D^0+\overline{D}^0$ measurement in nucleus-nucleus collisions at SPS energies with NA61/SHINE / Merzlaya, Anastasia (U. Oslo (main)) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
The measurement of open charm meson production provides a tool for the investigation of the properties of the hot and dense matter created in nucleus-nucleus collisions at relativistic energies. In particular, charm mesons are of vivid interest in the context of the study of the nature of the phase-transition between confined hadronic matter and the quark-gluon plasma [...]

Femtoscopy using Lévy-type source at NA61/SHINE / Porfy, Barnabas (Wigner RCP, Budapest) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
In the recent years, research studies in high-energy physics have confirmed the creation of the strongly interacting quark-gluon plasma (sQGP) in ultra-relativistic nucleus-nucleus collisions. NA61/SHINE at CERN SPS investigates hadronic matter properties by varying collision energy ($\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}} \approx 5.3, 6.2, 7.7, 8.8, 12$, and 16.8 GeV) and systems (such as p+p, p+Pb, Be+Be, Ar+Sc, Xe+La, Pb+Pb).
