| Status of the NA62 liquid krypton electromagnetic calorimeter Level 0 trigger processor
/ Bonaiuto, V (IAS, Rome ; Rome U.,Tor Vergata) ; Federici, L (IAS, Rome ; Rome U.,Tor Vergata) ; Fucci, A (INFN, Rome2) ; Paoluzzi, G (INFN, Rome2) ; Salamon, A (INFN, Rome2) ; Salina, G (INFN, Rome2) ; Santovetti, E (Rome U.,Tor Vergata) ; Sargeni, F (IAS, Rome ; Rome U.,Tor Vergata) ; Venditti, S (CERN) The NA62 experiment at the CERN SPS aims to measure the Branching Ratio of the very rare kaon decay K(+)→π(+)νbar nu collecting O(100) events with a 10% background in two years of data taking. To reject the K(+)→π(+)π(0) background the NA48 liquid krypton calorimeter will be used in the 1-10 mrad angular region. [...]

| The NA62 Liquid Krypton calorimeter readout module
/ Ceccucci, A (CERN) ; Fantechi, R (CERN ; INFN, Pisa) ; Farthouat, P (CERN) ; Lamanna, G (CERN) ; Ryjov, V (CERN) The NA62 experiment [1] at CERN SPS (Super Proton Synchrotron) accelerator will be focused on precision tests of the Standard Model via studies of ultra-rare decays of charged kaons. The high resolution Liquid Krypton (LKr) calorimeter of the former NA48 experiment [2], together with other detectors, will provide a photon-veto with hermetic coverage from zero out to large angles from the decay region. | The NA62 LAV front-end electronics
/ Antonelli, A. (Frascati) ; Corradi, G. (Frascati) ; Moulson, M. (Frascati) ; Paglia, C. (Frascati) ; Raggi, M. (Frascati) ; Spadaro, T. (Frascati) ; Tagnani, D. (Frascati) ; Ambrosino, F. (Naples U.) ; Di Filippo, D. (Naples U.) ; Massarotti, P. (Naples U.) et al. The branching ratio for the decay $K^+ \to \pi^+\nu\bar{\nu}$ is sensitive to new physics; the NA62 experiment will measure it to within about 10%. To reject the dominant background from channels with final state photons, the large-angle vetoes (LAVs) must detect particles with better than 1 ns time resolution and 10% energy resolution over a very large energy range. | Characterisation of the NA62 GigaTracker end of column readout ASIC
/ Noy, M (CERN) ; Fiorini, M (CERN) ; Perktold, L (CERN) ; Rinella, G A (CERN) ; Riedler, P (CERN) ; Morel, M (CERN) ; Kluge, A (CERN) ; Kaplon, J (CERN) ; Martin, E (Cathol. U. Louvain (main)) ; Jarron, P (CERN) The architecture and characterisation of the End Of Column demonstrator readout ASIC for the NA62 GigaTracker hybrid pixel detector is presented. This ASIC serves as a proof of principle for a pixel chip with 1800 pixels which must perform time stamping to better than 200 ps (RMS), provide 300 mu m pitch position information and operate with a dead-time of 1\% or less for 800 MHz-1 GHz beam rate. | Integrating Controls Frameworks: Control Systems for NA62 LAV Detector Test Beams
/ Holme, Oliver (CERN ; Zurich, ETH) ; Arroyo Garcia, Jonas (CERN) ; Golonka, Piotr (CERN) ; Gonzalez-Berges, Manuel (CERN) ; Milcent, Hervé (CERN) The detector control system for the NA62 experiment at CERN, to be ready for physics data-taking in 2014, is going to be built based on control technologies recommended by the CERN Engineering group. A rich portfolio of the technologies is planned to be showcased and deployed in the final application, and synergy between them is needed. [...]
