A systematic Effect in EDM Rings due to radial Offsets of electrostatic Bendings and longitudinal Magnetic Fields / Cilento, Vera (CERN) ; Carli, Christian (CERN)
Optimization and realistic estimates of the sensitivity of the measurement of charged particle Electric Dipole Moment (EDM) in storage rings require a good understanding of systematic errors that can contribute to a vertical spin build-up mimicking the EDM signal to be detected. A specific case of systematic effects due to offsets of electrostatic bendings and longitudinal magnetic fields is studied. [...]

Vertical Spin build-up due to Vertical Offset in Quadrupoles and Horizontal Betatron Oscillations / Cilento, Vera (CERN) ; Carli, Christian (CERN)
Many proposals to measure a possible small Electric Dipole Moment (EDM) of charged particles are based on the magic energy concept. Without EDM and for a ring without imperfections, an initial longitudinal polarization of a bunch is maintained in electro-static bendings by operation at a particular energy called the magic energy. [...]

A Long-Baseline Atom Interferometer at CERN: Conceptual Feasibility Study / Arduini, G.
We present results from exploratory studies, supported by the Physics Beyond Colliders (PBC) Study Group, of the suitability of a CERN site and its infrastructure for hosting a vertical atom interferometer (AI) with a baseline of about 100 m [...]

Findings of the Physics Beyond Colliders ECN3 Beam Delivery Task Force / Ahdida, Claudia (CERN) ; Bartosik, Hannes (CERN) ; Bernhard, Johannes (CERN) ; Brugger, Markus (CERN) ; Calviani, Marco (CERN) ; Colinet, Antoine (CERN) ; Esposito, Luigi Salvatore (CERN) ; Franqueira Ximenes, Rui (CERN) ; Fraser, Matthew Alexander (CERN) ; Gautheron, Fabrice (University of Patras (GR)) et al.
The ECN3 Beam Delivery Task Force was mandated by the PBC Study Group to assess the technical feasibility of increasing the proton beam intensity to the ECN3 hall of the North Area to satisfy the demands of a compelling set of PBC experimental physics proposals. This report summarises the findings of the Task Force that converge on a technically feasible solution with an implementation timeline that could exploit and build upon the investment already foreseen as part of Phase 1 of the NA-CONS project, and take the SPS complex into a new intensity frontier for Fixed Target physics in Run4..

The quest for new physics with the Physics Beyond Colliders programme / Jaeckel, Joerg (Heidelberg U.) ; Lamont, Mike (CERN) ; Vallée, Claude (Marseille, CPPM)
In recent years, interest in complementary methods to high-energy-frontier colliders to investigate the physics of elementary particles and forces has grown. This development is driven by the so-far negative results of searches for new particles with high masses at the Large Hadron Collider, and by theoretical attempts to account for neutrino masses and to solve cosmological puzzles such as dark matter, dark energy and the matter–antimatter asymmetry in the Universe.
