CP violation in $K\toμ^+μ^-$ with and without time dependence through a tagged analysis
/ D'Ambrosio, Giancarlo (INFN, Naples) ; Dery, Avital (CERN) ; Grossman, Yuval (Cornell U., LEPP) ; Kitahara, Teppei (Chiba U. ; KMI, Nagoya ; Nagoya U.) ; Marchevski, Radoslav (EPFL, Lausanne, LPPC) ; Martínez Santos, Diego (U. A Coruna) ; Schacht, Stefan (Durham U., IPPP)
We point out that using current knowledge of ${\cal B}(K^0_L\toμ^+μ^-)$ and $ {\cal B}(K^0_L\to γγ)$, one can extract short-distance information from the combined measurement of the time-integrated CP asymmetry, $A_{\rm CP}(K^0\toμ^+μ^-)$, and of ${\cal B}(K^0_S\toμ^+μ^-)$. We discuss the interplay between this set of observables, and demonstrate that determining ${\rm sign}[A_{\rm CP}(K^0\toμ^+μ^-)]$ would eliminate the discrete ambiguity in the Standard Model prediction for ${\cal B}(K^0_L\toμ^+μ^-)$. Superadditivity at Large Charge
/ Cohen, Timothy (CERN ; EPFL, Lausanne, LPTP ; Oregon U.) ; Fadakar, Ipak (EPFL, Lausanne, LPTP ; Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore) ; Gomes, Andrew (EPFL, Lausanne, LPTP) ; Monin, Alexander (South Carolina U.) ; Rattazzi, Riccardo (EPFL, Lausanne, LPTP)
The weak gravity conjecture has been invoked to conjecture that the dimensions of charged operators in a CFT should obey a superadditivity relation (sometimes referred to as convexity). In this paper, we study superadditivity of the operator spectrum in theories expanded about the semi-classical saddle point that dominates correlators of large charge operators. [...]

S-wave flavor-singlet meson mixing in QCD with light and charm quarks
/ Urrea-Niño, Juan Andrés (Trinity Coll., Dublin ; Wuppertal U.) ; Höllwieser, Roman (Wuppertal U.) ; Knechtli, Francesco (Wuppertal U.) ; Korzec, Tomasz (Wuppertal U.) ; Finkenrath, Jacob (CERN) ; Peardon, Michael (Trinity Coll., Dublin)
We investigate the mixing between flavor-singlet light meson and charmonium operators in the S-wave channels, i.e. pseudo-scalar and vector channel, at two different pion masses. [...]

Leptogenesis in automatic Nelson-Barr models
/ Murgui, Clara (CERN) ; Patrone, Samuel (Caltech)
In this study, we numerically show that automatic Nelson-Barr models with new chiral fermions can simultaneously solve the strong CP problem and generate the observed baryon asymmetry via high-scale leptogenesis. In these models, all CP violation arises from a single spontaneous symmetry-breaking scale, linking the origin of quark and lepton CP phases. [...]

/NNPDF Collaboration
We present a determination of the strong coupling $α_s(m_Z)$ from a global dataset including both fixed-target and collider data from deep-inelastic scattering and a variety of hadronic processes, with a simultaneous determination of parton distribution functions (PDFs) based on the NNPDF4.0 methodology. This determination is performed at NNLO and approximate N$^3$LO (aN$^3$LO) perturbative QCD accuracy, including QED corrections and a photon PDF up to NLO accuracy. [...]

The accurate identification of heavy-flavour jets, those which originate from bottom or charm quarks, is crucial for precision studies of the Standard Model and searches for new physics. However, assigning flavour to jets presents significant challenges, primarily due to issues with infrared and collinear (IRC) safety. [...]

Personal Memories of 50 Years of Quarkonia
/ Ellis, John (King's Coll. London ; CERN)
The world of particle physics was revolutionised in November 1974 by the discovery of the J/psi particle, the first particle to be identified as a quarkonium state composed of charm quarks and antiquarks. The charmonium interpretation of the J/psi was cemented by the subsequent observations of a spectrum of related c c̅ states, and finally by the discovery of charmed particles in 1976. [...]

We present the current Standard Model (SM) prediction for the muon anomalous magnetic moment, $a_μ$, updating the first White Paper (WP20) [1]. The pure QED and electroweak contributions have been further consolidated, while hadronic contributions continue to be responsible for the bulk of the uncertainty of the SM prediction. [...]
