Overview of $B \to K^{(*)}\ell \ell$ Theoretical Calculations and Uncertainties / Mahmoudi, F. (IP2I, Lyon ; CERN ; IUF, Paris) ; Monceaux, Y. (IP2I, Lyon)
The search for New Physics (NP) beyond the Standard Model (SM) has been a central focus of particle physics, including in the context of $B$-meson decays involving $b \to s \ell \ell$ transitions. These transitions, mediated by flavour-changing neutral currents, are highly sensitive to small NP effects due to their suppression in the SM. [...]

QCD corrections to Higgs boson production and $H \to b \bar{b}$ decay in weak boson fusion / Asteriadis, Konstantin (Regensburg U.) ; Behring, Arnd (CERN) ; Melnikov, Kirill (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP) ; Novikov, Ivan (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP) ; Röntsch, Raoul (INFN, Milan ; Milan U.)
We study QCD corrections to the process where a Higgs boson is produced in weak boson fusion and then decays into a pair of massive $b$ quarks. We find that typical experimental criteria used to identify $b$ jets in this process affect QCD corrections to the decay, making it necessary to account for them in the proper description of this process. Heavy-to-light form factors to three loops / Fael, Matteo (CERN) ; Huber, Tobias (Siegen U.) ; Lange, Fabian (Zurich U. ; PSI, Villigen) ; Müller, Jakob (Siegen U.) ; Schönwald, Kay (Zurich U.) ; Steinhauser, Matthias (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP)
We compute three-loop corrections of $\mathcal{O}(\alpha_{s}^3)$ to form factors with one massive and one massless quark coupling to an external vector, axialvector, scalar, pseudoscalar, or tensor current. We obtain analytic results for the color-planar contributions, for the contributions of light-quark loops, and the contributions with two heavy-quark loops. [...]

Self-interacting dark matter solves the final parsec problem of supermassive black hole mergers / Alonso-Álvarez, Gonzalo (Toronto U. ; McGill U.) ; Cline, James M. (McGill U. ; CERN) ; Dewar, Caitlyn (McGill U.)
Evidence for a stochastic gravitational wave (GW) background, plausibly originating from the merger of supermassive black holes (SMBHs), is accumulating with observations from pulsar timing arrays. An outstanding question is how inspiraling SMBHs get past the "final parsec" of separation, where they have a tendency to stall before GW emission alone can make the binary coalesce. [...]

An event generator for Lepton-Hadron Deep Inelastic Scattering at NLO+PS with POWHEG including mass effects / Buonocore, Luca (CERN) ; Limatola, Giovanni (Turin U.) ; Nason, Paolo (INFN, Milan Bicocca ; Munich, Max Planck Inst.) ; Tramontano, Francesco (CERN ; Naples U.)
We present a generator for lepton nucleon collisions in the DIS regime, focusing in particular on processes with a massive lepton and/or a massive quark in the final state. We have built a full code matching NLO QCD corrections to parton shower Monte Carlo programs in the POWHEG-BOX framework. [...]

Baryon-number — flavor separation in the topological expansion of QCD / Frenklakh, David (SUNY, Stony Brook) ; Kharzeev, Dmitri (SUNY, Stony Brook ; Brookhaven) ; Rossi, Giancarlo (INFN, Rome ; Enrico Fermi Ctr., Rome) ; Veneziano, Gabriele (CERN ; College de France)
Gauge invariance of QCD dictates the presence of string junctions in the wave functions of baryons. In high-energy inclusive processes, these baryon junctions have been predicted to induce the separation of the flows of baryon number and flavor. [...]

$\mathrm{D}$ and $\mathrm{D_s}$ decay constants in $N_{\rm f}=2+1$ QCD with Wilson fermions / Kuberski, Simon (CERN ; Mainz U., Inst. Phys. ; Darmstadt, GSI) ; Joswig, Fabian (Edinburgh U.) ; Collins, Sara (Regensburg U.) ; Heitger, Jochen (Munster U., ITP) ; Söldner, Wolfgang (Regensburg U.) /RQCD Collaboration ; ALPHA Collaboration
We present results for the leptonic decay constants of the D and D$_{\rm s}$ mesons from $N_{\rm f}=2+1$ lattice QCD. We employ a set of 49 high statistics gauge ensembles generated by the Coordinated Lattice Simulations (CLS) effort utilising non-perturbatively improved Wilson fermions and the tree-level Symanzik improved gauge action at six values of the lattice spacing in the range $a = 0.098\,$fm down to $a = 0.039\,$fm, with pion masses varying from around $420\,$MeV down to below the physical point.
